Job Description
Material Handler 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars Boylston, MA 01505 Our client, a manufacturer in Boylston, MA, is looking to hire a Material Handler for their location. The ideal candidate will need 1 to 2 years of relevant experience for this position. Responsibilities include selecting outgoing items from stock as requested by manufacturing and delivering them to the appropriate department.
The Day-to-Day:
Participates in daily cycle counts and provides accurate inventory counts. Stores incoming materials from receiving and production in the proper bin locations. Selects and prepares items from stock for shipments to customers. Document inventory transactions accurately using proper inventory documents. Inspects equipment used daily to ensure proper and safe functioning. Loads and unloads trailers as required for receiving shipping or transfers. Updates the inventory in the database as required by the Warehouse Supervisor or Team Leader.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Basic math with computer skills Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 50 lbs. 1 to 2 years of relative experience
Pay Rate/Shifts:
$17.00 to $18.00 /hr Monday to Friday 6:00 AM to 2:30
