Overview
Pay range for this position is $28.88/hr•$32.08/hr.
This is a mid-level position to work as a Material Handler. Applicants may be assigned any Material Handler Trade tasks, but will initially be assigned to operate equipment including (but not limited to): receive/issue material at Warehouses and Facilities, maintain accurate inventory, operate fork lifts, operate barcode scanners and operate hand tools (Banders, etc.)
Responsibilities
Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record over the past 5 years required.
Previous fork-lift experience required with the ability to demonstrate proficiency at time of interview.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Qualifications
Basic computer skills and use of barcode scanners.
Must meet the requirements of the Material Handler physical task analysis, to include climbing stairs/ladders and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must have a valid drivers license.
More than 1 year of warehousing experience preferred.
Previous BIW Material Handling experience or familiarity with BIW material Handling process preferred.
