POSITION SUMMARY

Our Warehouse Workers are some of the best in the industry. They wear many hats on a given day and have opportunities in many areas within the walls of our 150,000-sf facility. If you like having various job duties such as sorting, stacking, loading and unloading trucks, making boxes or bales, and operating warehouse equipment, this is right up your alley. We have open position in Receiving and shipping; previous experience and skill set will determine placement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES RECEIVERS

• Unload trailers using forklift or pallet jacks
• Verifies receipt quantities and/or damage discrepancies and communicates same to Purchasing
• Sort product by item and lot number for put away
• Put away product in locations to streamline pick flow
• Work in the bulk storage coolers (read: not freezers), as needed
• Conduct housekeeping tasks
• Operate a forklift or order picker safely as needed to perform duties

ORDER PULLERS

• Pull, sort, and hand stack products by item and lot number
• Load and unload trailers
• Package shipments to ship on LTL freight or parcel freight
• Work in the bulk storage coolers (read: not freezers), as needed
• Conduct housekeeping tasks
• Operate a forklift and order picker safely as needed to perform duties
• Perform other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• High level of attention to detail, strong organizational and time management skills
• Forklift, order picker, and turret training highly regarded
• RF scanner experience
• High degree of accuracy required
• Proficient in Excel and standardized word processing
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• High regard for warehouse safety standards

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to read computer screens, written documents, and email.
• Ability to lift and move up to seventy (70) pounds.
