PM Job Summary:
Personnel Placements, LLC is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Associate to join our team at our medical distribution center in Olive Branch, MS. The QA Associate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and quality of products distributed within our warehouse. This position plays a key role in ensuring that all medical supplies meet regulatory standards and company guidelines before they are shipped to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect, audit, and verify products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications. Perform visual and functional checks on medical equipment, supplies, and inventory items. Record and document findings during inspections, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date. Assist in identifying and troubleshooting any quality issues or discrepancies, escalating when necessary. Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to maintain the integrity and efficiency of the distribution process. Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, industry standards, and company policies. Participate in regular quality audits and assist with corrective actions when required. Assist in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives for quality and process efficiency. Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with safety protocols and guidelines.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (required); associate’s degree or certification in quality control or a related field (preferred). At least 1 year of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role, preferably in a medical or warehouse environment. Knowledge of medical product standards and regulations, including FDA and OSHA guidelines, is a plus. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and basic computer skills. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.
Working Conditions:
The position is based at a medical distribution center in Olive Branch, MS. The work environment involves being on your feet for extended periods, handling medical products, and following safety protocols. Standard warehouse and office conditions apply. BR1
