Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement of materials within the warehouse, ensuring that all products are handled safely and accurately. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations and the ability to operate various types of equipment.
Shift:
First shift 6:45am-3pm
Duties :
Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks to load and unload products. Safely transport materials throughout the warehouse, ensuring proper handling and storage. Assist in shipping and receiving processes, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against packing lists. Maintain an organized work area, ensuring that all materials are stored in designated locations. Perform regular inspections of equipment to ensure safety and functionality. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain workflow efficiency. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery.
Requirements :
Previous experience in materials handling or warehouse operations preferred. Proficiency in operating forklifts, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and order pickers. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues. Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks throughout the shift. Excellent attention to detail for accurate order picking and inventory management. Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
