Job Description
Warehouser (Shipping) 1st Shift GRT Rubber – Ripley Operations Ripley, MS 38663 •This is a Safety Sensitive Position•PURPOSE This role ships our customer’s orders in a timely manner to meet their needs as well as receiving all inbound materials to meet our production schedule.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Pick customer orders for Less than Truckload (LTL) and/or truckload shipments. Performs all system related transactions to ensure inventory accuracy goals. Assists in preparing materials orders or truck orders and assists in maintaining accurate raw materials, pallets and carton counts for warehouse supervisor and/or material handling manager. Put away all finished goods and raw materials in warehouse racking and proper storage locations. Work with manufacturing, production and Quality departments to build packaging to secure product and prevent damage. Maintain a clean work area and material handling equipment. Responsible to adhere to all safety procedures in the performance of job duties.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of one (1) year forklift and warehouse/manufacturing experience; or any equivalent combination of acceptable training, education, and experience. Forklift certification required. EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred, but not required.
LANGUAGE ABILITY
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and work instructions.
MATH ABILITY
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Incumbent needs a basic understanding of computers and printers

Work requires moderate physical effort and use of motor skills requiring manual dexterity that is. While performing duties of this job, employee will regularly sit, stand, walk, kneel, and crouch. Employee must be able to physically lift, lower, and carry product weighing up to 60 lbs. Will regularly material handling equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes which requires some coordinated movements. Operating a forklift or other material handling equipment is considered a “Safety Sensitive” function.
