POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for warehouse receiving operations, inventory control and work order fulfillment under the direction of the Receiving Manager.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential Functions Statement(s) Receive all incoming freight and raw material. Unload trucks with forklift. Verify materials received against appropriate purchase order. Enter received materials into Visual database by purchase order number. Perform damage inspection on received goods. Place ordered, received goods in inventory stock according to proper procedure. Return all non-conforming material to issuing vendor. Make any necessary corrections to computer system to take returned material out of inventory. Pull proper materials needed to complete received work orders. Delivery required materials to appropriate staging area once pulled. Receive any unused material from completed work orders to be re-entered into inventory. Enter all returned material into Visual database and issue a return receipt to the work order in the system. Clerical functions related to recordkeeping and production.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education :

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

Experience :

Three to five years of experience in warehouse and inventory control in a manufacturing environment and operating a forklift. Computer Skills Average Micro Soft Office Suite software knowledge (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Must have previously used a manufacturing system (Visual, SAP) on a regular basis. Certificates & Licenses Certified forklift operator Other Requirements Strong mathematical skills. Ability to read and understand work orders.
