The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the yard area, ensuring that materials are organized and accessible, and supporting various warehouse operations. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Organize and maintain the yard area by ensuring materials are properly stored and labeled. Assist in shipping and receiving operations, including loading and unloading trucks. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklift, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently. Perform materials handling tasks, including heavy lifting of items as needed. Collaborate with supervisors to ensure smooth operations. Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all employees. Skills Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise. Experience in shipping and receiving processes within a warehouse setting. Familiarity with materials handling techniques and safety practices. Proficient in operating forklift, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift. Strong organizational skills to manage yard inventory effectively.
