ROLE OVERVIEW

The Material Handler/Industrial Truck Operator (ITO) ensures the timely delivery and pick-up of materials to production areas, optimizing operations while maintaining safety and quality standards. Responsible for operating mobile equipment safely, organizing materials, and maintaining accurate inventory data.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

Safely operate forklifts to transport raw materials, WIP, and finished goods. Provide production areas with roll stock, pallets, and materials as needed. Package, wrap, and prepare finished goods to meet customer specifications. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment. Complete and file accurate paperwork and system transactions for traceability. Conduct housekeeping, equipment inspections, and weigh production scrap. Collaborate with co-workers and support multiple functions during shifts. Adhere to and promote EHS policies and safety standards. Anticipate production needs, respond to equipment issues, and seek improvement opportunities.

WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU

High school diploma or equivalent; 2+ years of forklift experience preferred. Proficiency with computers and familiarity with Microsoft Office. Experience in warehouse or manufacturing environments. Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively. Ability to safely operate heavy machinery and move materials up to 50 lbs. Self-motivated with a team-oriented mindset.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Operate forklifts and other equipment for extended periods. Push, pull, twist, bend, and lift materials up to 50 lbs. Stand or sit for up to 12 hours per shift in a fast-paced environment.
