We are now hiring a shipping/receiving clerk! $18.00 per hour Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm Must have experience as a shipping/receiving clerk Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Receiving Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the receipt of goods and materials within our distribution center. You will play a crucial part in ensuring inventory accuracy and maintaining efficient operations by utilizing various tools and technologies. Responsibilities Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality. Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and update stock levels in the system. Operate pallet jacks and order pickers to move products safely within the warehouse. Maintain accurate records of received items, including quantities and condition. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of shipments. Assist in organizing stock in designated areas to optimize space and accessibility. Conduct regular inventory counts to ensure stock accuracy. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Skills Proficiency in MRP systems for inventory management. Experience with shipping and receiving processes in a distribution center setting. Familiarity with AS400 software for tracking orders and inventory. Ability to operate RF scanners effectively for order picking and packing tasks. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing stock levels. Capability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of safety practices related to warehouse operations.
