Job Description
General Laborer Fence Builders Inc. 1230 Old Salisbury Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27127 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate various tools and equipment. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our fence installation processes. Duties Performing general/heavy manual labor (digging post holes, etc.) Lifting, moving, and installation of large objects Operating large vehicles and equipment Operating small hand tools Handling, organizing, and tracking inventory Load or unload materials Dig trenches, backfill holes, or compact earth to prepare for construction Follow construction plans and instructions from supervisors or more experienced workers.
Qualifications:
Must be authorized to work in the United States High School diploma or GED equivalent Fluent in English language Must be 18+ Valid driver’s license Be able to pass a background check and drug screening. Previous experience in fence industry a plus, but not required. Must be physically fit and able to perform strenuous manual labor Must have good communication skills Have the ability to think quickly and problem solve Reliable, hard-working, and self-motivated Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment where situations and demands change daily. Additionally, this position may require: Lifting up to 50 lbs. above knees for several hours. Working in awkward positions on knees or bent at the knees for several hours. Walking over 3 miles a day Working outside in various types of weather. Join us today!
