Job Description
Warehouse Associate Sai Technologies LLC 40 11th St, Belmont, NC 28012 –
Hours:
Mon-Fri, 8am-6pm. 1 hr unpaid lunch. 1 hour OT daily. -Temp to hire. -Recent forklift experience
REQUIRED.
Will use stand-up forklift, reach truck, and stock picker. -Will primarily use stock picker daily. Experience
REQUIRED.
-Will be certified by Vallen on forklift. -Will assist with picking, packing, and receiving. Items handled are PPE products (some tools, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.). -Will lift up to 50# on occasion unassisted. -Some computer skills needed. -Steel toe shoes
REQUIRED.
-Warehouse is not temp controlled. Can get hot in the summer. -Dress code: pants/shorts and t-shirt/polo. No cut offs or loose clothing. The warehouse is kept fairly clean, but they may get dirty.
Job Qualifications:
1+ year of relevant experience and/or training. High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required). Relevant experience and/or aptitude should include:
- Demonstration of attention to detail, safety minded.
- Loading, unloading, picking, packing or moving goods in a warehouse environment; forklift / cherry picker experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work orders, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency and/or a demonstrated technical aptitude to learn; preferred technical skills to include but not limited to MS-Office products, Vista, Control, SX.e, Prophet 21.
- Demonstration of basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units to measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals); ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent preferred.
- Ability to compile routine reports and write correspondence.
- Ability to work in a team environment and be self-motivated to accomplish assigned tasks and goals.
