Job Description We’re looking for a dependable and safety-minded Warehouse Specialist to join our team and help keep daily operations running smoothly. This role offers variety—while you may operate a forklift from time to time, it’s not the primary focus. If you’re someone who takes pride in being hands-on, adaptable, and ready to contribute wherever needed—whether it’s shipping, receiving, inventory, or general warehouse support—this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down riders) as needed to move pallets and materials. Load, unload, and transport goods to designated areas within the warehouse. Follow proper stacking and storage procedures to maximize space and prevent damage. Assist with packing, unpacking, labeling, and staging of materials. Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance concerns. Maintain accurate inventory movement records using warehouse management systems. Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards. Support cycle counts and inventory audits. Participate in training and safety programs. Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and supervisors. Perform light data entry tasks and basic email communication as needed.
Qualifications:
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. High school diploma or GED required. Valid forklift certification preferred. At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment. Basic computer and data entry skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
