Candidates must have experience operating overhead cranes, load and unload trucks, and must be experienced using and operating a forklift.

PAY:

$18.00- $22.00 per hour (based on experience & shift)

HOURS:

1st Shift – 7:00 am-3:30 pm

Temp-to-perm Essential Functions The Material Handler will support the fabrication shop with various duties such as loading and unloading steel from trucks, operating an overhead crane, transferring steel to production tables, and operating a forklift. A successful candidate will also be able to perform rigging work to move material as required. The Material Handler may also perform other duties as required to support the fabrication shop not specifically mentioned above. Operate safety equipment and observe strict safe work habits. Must clean and organize work area throughout shift and at the end of shift. Must pass and maintain ability to wear appropriate PPE and monitoring requirements. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Organized, efficient, good problem solving skills, and good communication skills. Be able to use tape measure for accuracy on cutting dimensions. Contributes to a team environment Test and inspect products, services, or processes. Evaluate quality or performance.

Requirements:

Must be experienced operating overhead cranes. Load and unload structural steel outdoors. Must be experienced using and operating a forklift. Basic math skills are required. Work as part of a team to ensure achievement of Company goals. Must be able to stand on feet for up to 8 to 10 hours. Must be organized and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED required. Valid Driver License Must pass drug and background screening
