Material Handler 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars High Point, NC 27265 1st shift Monday-Friday 6am to 3:30pm Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient movement of materials and products within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of warehouse operations and demonstrate the ability to operate various types of equipment safely and effectively. Duties Operate heavy equipment such as cranes, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks to move materials throughout the facility. Perform heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Utilize RF scanners for inventory management and order picking processes. Assist in loading and unloading shipments, ensuring accurate order fulfillment. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to OSHA standards. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues. Skills Proficient in operating heavy equipment including cranes and clamp trucks. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues. Experience with order picking processes and familiarity with RF scanning technology. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in handling materials. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
