Construction Manufacturing Crane Communication skills Entry level Time management Full Job Description Environmental Air Systems, a full-service mechanical contractor, is seeking a Material Handler to join our Manufacturing Team at our facility in High Point, North Carolina. In this role you will transport materials, supplies, and finished products to designated locations. Pipe experience is required as you will be operating a lull.

Responsibilities:
Receive, distribute, and store products as directed in designated, secure locations Prepare and maintain records of materials received and shipped including dates of transactions, locations, and other pertinent information Review shipments for quality and accuracy; review accompanying documents for accuracy Confirm shipping details or special instructions; expedite shipments that affect the manufacturing process schedule Transport and load materials, supplies, and finished goods (manually and/or using hand trucks and skids) When problems arise, resolve issues with contractors or vendors Validate, approve, and forward invoices to accounting department Collect and properly disposes of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping; maintain a safe and clean work environment Perform other related duties as assigned
Education Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience operating a lull preferred Forklift and crane operating experience preferred Previous construction, manufacturing, or HVAC experience preferred
Job Requirements/Special Skills:
Ability to speak and read either English or Spanish Excellent verbal communication skills Ability to read blueprints preferred Efficient time management skills Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
