SUMMARY This person will be trained to support all departments within the Warehouse to be able to meet manpower requirements needed on any given day to accomplish the daily workflow demands.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Promote a culture of safety and accountability by adhering to established protocols, proactively identifying potential risks, and fostering a workplace environment where safety is a shared priority. Always exhibits the highest standard of personal ethics and adhere to all Pella Carolina policies. Responsible for performing all warehouse duties in a safe, efficient, detailed, and customer-focused fashion Unload and receive product in a safe, efficient, timely and accurate fashion Load/Unload trucks scheduled for delivery Update the Warehouse Management System, utilizing the scanners, when product is moved, received and/or loaded. Process warehouse documentation in a timely and accurate fashion, while ensuring that the document(s) are routed to the appropriate personnel upon completion Maintain quality control standards for products being painted. Reassemble product after painting. Work on assembly table as needed Communicate ideas for process improvement to management. Perform cycle counts as needed to measure inventory accurately
QUALIFICATIONS
Dependability /Team Player Prior forklift experience – Must Have Carpentry/Pre-finish skills Some computer skills Willingness to learn
PHYSICAL DEMANDS A
candidate must be able to lift up to 100 pounds and spend eight hours on his/her feet.
