Warehouse Technician Cold World Storage Greensboro, NC 27406 Kyrie Global has openings in our growing warehouse team. Job Description:
The warehouse technician is responsible for the receiving, warehousing, and distributing of materials and equipment. Maintaining cleanliness of the warehouse and ensuring the warehouse is always properly secured. Controlling inventory levels by conducting physical counts as directed. Operate a powered industrial forklift (PIT) to accomplish various assignments and load and unload trucks while completing all tasks safely and accurately.
Schedule:
Monday thru Friday First shift hours 0700 to 1600 (scheduled times may vary) OT available
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Forklift experience required Must have reliable transportation
Skills & Experience:
Ability to follow verbal and written communication Works safely and utilizes all necessary PPE Escalates any potential safety or quality concerns Physical demands-lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 lbs or more Previous cold storage (cooler/freezer) experience preferred
Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
Performs accurate quality control checks Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences such as size, temperature specifications, type, style, or product code Sorts and stores temperature-controlled items in appropriate refrigerated rooms Unloads material, verify packing slip, notates discrepancies, and distributes items to appropriate locations Wraps and ships pallets Counts items within the service center to ensure conformance to company standards Operates forklift or pallet jack and other designated equipment to move, put away or retrieve specified material according to safety rules and regulations Maintains company and regulatory standards throughout the warehouse and office Ability to read and keep track of customers paperwork, shipping orders and requisitions Maintains inventory records Maintains safety and security standards by reporting any items or people within the service center which appear to be out of order to management immediately Performs other duties as necessary
