- Job Description
- The Material Handler plays a crucial role in the warehouse operations by ensuring the efficient movement and shipment of products.
This position involves removing and palletizing finished product totes, picking stock from inventory, performing final counts for shipments, calling trucks for outgoing orders, and driving forklifts to move pallets and load trucks. The Material Handler also assists with inventory control and maintains a clean and hazard-free shipping area.
- Responsibilities
- + Remove and palletize finished product totes from pallets and factory orders to ensure proper quantities and customer identification.
+ Pick stock from inventory according to needs outlined in build/inventory report. + Conduct final count to ensure correct shipment as necessary. + Call trucks to pick up prepared outgoing orders according to routing instructions. + Drive forklift to move pallets, load trucks, and transport other items within the warehouse. + Assist with inventory control and count of stocking programs. + Maintain a clean and hazard-free shipping area. + Perform other duties as assigned.
- Essential Skills
- + Proficiency in inspection and material handling.
+ Experience in quality control. + Ability to drive a forklift, specifically sit-down models. + Six months of experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment. + Scan gun experience. + Ability to use a computer for producing bills of lading, production reporting, and other documents. + Ability to read work instructions, labels, etc., at a level necessary to perform job duties. + Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. + Ability to accurately match number sequences with labels and factory orders.

- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $19.00 – $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
