The Warehouse Operator performs a variety of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming product, picking, and filling orders from stock, stacking, and wrapping product and/or building pallets. Responsible for shipping and receiving schedule. Responsible for shipping and receiving in Four Oaks To establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees. To gain a general knowledge of cost-effective warehouse principles and management. Actively display knowledge of standard safety practices and procedures relating to warehouse operations and equipment. Assist other departments as necessary Other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Education Requirements HS Diploma or GED a plus. 3-5 years in a warehouse or distribution environment. Food manufacturing preferred with a strong warehouse/distribution background. Capability to lead a diverse workforce. Knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word. Must be standup forklift Certified Capacity to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and troubleshooting instructions, and procedure manuals. Adeptness to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Aptitude to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form. Skill to apply mathematical concepts and excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to manage and complete multiple tasks Ability to work in a team environment.
