Warehouse Associate 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars Lincolnton, NC 28092 Nesco Resource is hiring for 1st Shift Warehouse Associate in Lincolnton, NC! General warehouse work with ability to safely operate a 26′ box truck owned by the company. Will spend most time handling materials and not driving. Local driving only between two facilities owned by the company. Container packing experience preferred. Need an individual with valid Class C licenses, who can maintain a safe driving record. Prefer experience with operating a box truck and fork lift. 7am to 5pm M-TH & as needed on Friday. Occasionally there is a Saturday shift required. Very rare. There are some rare evenings with a late truck, where department has to stay to load or unload goods. The fork lift skill required has you storing rolls of fabric normally in metal racks. The racks are as much as 3 levels high and stacked one upon the other. Safety consciousness is a must. Will be lifting rolls of fabric beyond 50 lbs. and will need to use proper lifting techniques & available tools when weight is over 50 lbs. Fork lift drivers use poll lifts and forks daily. Use of scanners and labeling systems, as well as use of a computers is required. Must be able to read, communicate and write in English proficiently.
