Hose Assembler/Warehouse Associate You Will:
On-site counter assistance to help customers determine best products to suit their needs Assemble and build industrial and hydraulic hose to appropriate specifications and standards. Move, store and transfer materials, supplies and merchandise in and around warehouse. Measure and cut hose based on provided customer orders using tape measure and other provided tools and resources. Work the retail counter to assist customer with hose repairs, suggestions and recommendations based on needs. Prepare orders for customers, set up transfers for other branch locations, as needed. Upholds environmental health and safety standards.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Prior experience in a retail sales setting Experience using a forklift, valid certification preferred, but not required Ability to lift and move over 50lbs. Practical knowledge of warehouse, data processing, paper flow and operations procedures Mechanically inclined abilities. Be comfortable using hand tools, running equipment including but not limited to saws and crimpers. Comfortable reading a tape measure. Beginner to intermediate to advanced user of the Internet and Microsoft Office Products Ability to work independently and with little direction after proper training
