Material Handler Hendrick Motorsports Charlotte, NC Job Details Full-time $18.20 – $19.46 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Forklift Certification ERP systems Mid-level High school diploma or GED Warehouse experience Computer skills Manufacturing Pallet jack 2 years Communication skills Full Job Description The Material Handler is responsible for executing a range of responsibilities – management of material movement, warehouse replenishment, and order picking. Overall, this role will work directly with the inventory team to supply materials to the production environment as directed. Ideally the candidate will be comfortable with a fast-paced Hendrick environment, working all day on their feet, and well organized.

Primary Responsibilities:

Load and unload pallets for shelf storage of products Manual shelf replenishment from backstock Assist with picking of required production materials Load/Unload trucks as needed Engage a forklift or pallet jack to move products as needed Assist with packaging of material for shipment Receipt and distribution of inventory Pick list pulling and distribution of inventory to the production floor Cycle counting of inventory as needed Act as a back-up for other positions as needed during absences Additional responsibilities added as needed Other Understanding of batch and serialized products a plus Understanding of BOMs a plus Ability to work without constant supervision Potential use of scanners in a warehouse environment Professional skills: Ability to self-direct Basic computer skills Flexible and creative thinking Ability to stand, crouch, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds for 8+ hours a day Forklift certified or ability to become certified Ability to work a pallet jack

Skills and Qualifications:

High school Diploma Automotive related background, a plus 2+ years experience in a warehouse environment 1+ years experience in traditional manufacturing preferred Working knowledge of ERP systems required Demonstrated ability in identifying and implementing structure in otherwise flexible/fluid operations Highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to persist and succeed with cross-functional communication within scope of responsibility Strong written and oral communication skills.
