un ⚐ ⚑ ⚑ Need warehouse worker now (Southwest Charlotte) compensation: negotiable employment type: experience level: entry level job title: Warehouse worker We are a packaging distribution/converting company located in the south Charlotte area looking for an entry level warehouse person working directly with our converting department lead in a fast paced, high volume work environment. The responsibilities of this position will be:
- Assembling boxes with fill material to meet desired size and weight
- Operating water activated tape machine
- Operating manual pallet jack to move and relocate pallets as directed
- Preparing workspace to designated specifications for converting runs
- Cleaning/sweeping area at end of day Our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Forklift experience preferred, not required
- Be a team player and fast learner
- Ability to work unsupervised for extended periods of time
- Keep up with a fast-paced work environment
- Good attention to detail
- Be on time
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to stand on your feet for majority of shift
- Ability to lift heavy items up to 50lbs
- Must have documentation that authorizes your right to work in the U.S.
