We are an expanding dealership looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our team. The Warehouse Associate is charged with the responsibility of shipping, receiving and storage of all parts and materials sold and inventoried by the company. This job function is responsible for maintaining all parts storage media in a clean and operationally effective manner.

Position Responsibilities:

The Warehouse Associate Must Be Knowledge and Responsible for: parts warehouse location numbering systems. parts inventoried and sold by the dealership. all forms and methods for warehousing. the operation of all material handling equipment and tools. all order picking and packing methods and procedures. all shipping requirements locally and to all territory locations. all inbound emergency order records and methods. all trans-shipping methods for emergency orders. Coordinates with parts management to ensure effective processes and procedures for all parts returns to vendors. Maintains all reporting concerning parts returns to vendors.

Stock Order Receiving:

Responsible for check-in and distribution of incoming parts shipments and deliveries. Completion of necessary paperwork concerning parts orders and deliveries Receipt of parts into business system inventory. Report any inconsistencies to Parts Manager upon order receipt. Locate and store stock parts on the appropriate shelves within the warehouse.

Physical Inventory Counts:

Participates in physical counts of parts and materials on an annual or as-directed basis. Corrects identified duplicate locations.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Qualifications – Must have a good driving record Participates in picking up and delivering parts and materials. Education and Pre-Requisites – A high school or technical school diploma in parts operations or equivalent experience in warehousing in a distribution business. Good communications skills. Excellent interpersonal relations skills. Good physical skills on equipment and an aptitude or manual work.
