Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver Functional Distro Co Charlotte, NC 28269 Functional Distro Co. has a clear mission is to empower health-conscious brands by providing them with strategic market access and distribution solutions. Brands include Hemp-Derived Beverages, Infused Waters and various flavor-forward non-alcoholic drinks. FDCO is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic delivery and warehouse specialist to join our sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform longer deliveries to warehouses in satellite locations such as Raleigh, Greensboro, Charleston, Greenville, Wilmington, etc.
- Perform local deliveries around the Charlotte metropolitan area to retail accounts
- Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks or other equipment as needed
- Manage inflow and outflow of product
- Merchandise stores: assist with displays, stocking, etc.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in proper working condition
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
- Provide excellent customer service by delivering goods in a timely and professional manner
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise
- Assist with moving and organizing inventory in the warehouse as needed
Experience:
- Valid driver’s license with a CLEAN driving record (no accidents, speeding tickets, etc.)
- Previous experience driving box trucks preferred
- Ability to safely operate a pallet jack and other warehouse equipment
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
