Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Lumper to join our team. As a lumper, you will be responsible for manually loading and unloading freight from trucks and containers. This role is physically demanding and requires attention to detail, strong teamwork, and a commitment to safety and efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse environment. 75% of your day will be lumping the dry and freezer floor loads with the remaining 25% assisting with cross-functional warehouse duties. Warehouse location will move to Rock Hill, South Carolina. Expected move date is July 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
Manually load and unload freight from trucks and shipping containers
Sort, organize, and stack products according to company procedures
Ensure accurate counts and inspection of goods for damage or defects
Use pallet jacks and other manual handling equipment as required
Always follow safety protocols and company policies
Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse team, and management
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Meet or exceed daily productivity goals
Assist warehouse team as necessary
Requirements Qualifications:
Previous warehouse, freight handling, or lumping experience
Forklift experience preferred
Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.) repeatedly
Strong work ethic and a team-oriented mindset
Reliable means of transportation and consistent attendance
Ability to follow direction
Working Conditions:
Fast-paced, physically demanding warehouse environment
