Here at QuickSTAT, our Hillsborough site is looking for a new Air Logistics Warehouse Specialist to join our Air Logistics team. Your Role Handle and monitor all QuickSTAT consignments ensuring compliance with all agreed Company policiesTo work collaboratively with all internal departments to ensure maximum client satisfaction Your Responsibilities Process all Import and Export consignments as they transit through the JFK facility Upon receipt of consignments at QSTAT, all consignments must undertake our “Goods In” process in our internal system of documentation review, check piece count, weight, dimension and, where required, re-icing Upon departure of consignments at QSTAT, all consignments must undertake our “Goods Out” processin our internal system of documentation review, piece count, dimension and, where required, re-icing Selection and preparationof temperature-controlled packaging solutions from our onsite inventory to include (PCM / Liquid Nitrogen and Dry Ice solutions) in conjunction with client requirements Selection and preparation of temperature loggers and GPS trackers from our onsite inventory inconjunction with client requirements Performing and recording of quality checks made of the re-usable temperature-controlled packaging solutions in our inventory Shared responsibility for the cleaning, re-stocking and system updates associated to and required for the re-usable packaging inventory Clear and concise communication of discrepancies Provide assistance toother internal Operational departments during times of staff shortages Serving of both employed and subcontractor drivers who report to the JFK facility Loading and unloading of vehicles both manually and using the onsite forklift Preparation ofconsolidated consignments for transferring to other Quick International facilities Data entry of key milestone information Shared responsibility for the overview of departmental mailbox to include the receipt of new packaging bookings and internal queries. Dealing with telephone enquiries from internal and external departments accurately and efficiently Shared responsibility ofensuring the hygiene levels within the facility are maintained to the highest standards Keep the Management team advised of potential and confirmed issues as they arise Leave appropriate shift-report and handovers for the next shift when required To undertake any other reasonable duties / responsibilities at the request of the Department Manager or other Senior Management Effective communication with all staff and cooperation within the Senior Management team Maintain a professional manner towards all staff, seeking at all times, to implement and maintain Company policies Encourage teamwork, cooperation, and a good working atmosphere within the department Seek appropriate support as necessary from your Manager in order to complete your responsibilities Seek to resolve inter-departmental questions and issues as they arise and without conflict Adhere to all Company policies at all times Your Skills and Experiences Experience of handling temperature-controlled and time critical consignments Specialist (Life Sciences / AOG) courier operations experience Experience of working to strict deadlines Comprehensive understanding of the various temperature-controlled packaging solutions available on the open market to forwarders Comprehensive understanding of courier / freight operations including Import / Export / Warehouse and Transport Understanding of warehouse milestones (goods in / goods out) Extensive knowledge of the US road networks Negotiation and problem-solving skills Teamwork skills and strong self-motivation ability Good numeric / financial ability Ability to work successfully under pressure Excellent time management skills Ability to motivate and lead a team High level computer skills – Word / Excel / PowerPoint essential Analytical ability Communication skills Planning and organizing Initiative Flexibility Industry experience ensuring ability to undertake all tasks / responsibilities listed above GDP Training and qualifications specific to transportation IT / Computer literacy qualifications (specifically those listed in skills and abilities above) Good Reasons to Join There has never been a better time to work in logistics.
