The Material Handler will be responsible for supporting the efficient flow of materials through the machine shop by managing receiving, storaging, handling, and internal logistics.
This role is located in Pine Hall, NC and will be fully on-site.

Bi-weekly Responsibilities Material Handler Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move raw materials, in-process items, and finished goods within the facility safely and efficiently.
Organize and maintain storage locations for raw materials, tooling, and finished goods, contributing to the setup of a scalable and efficient material storage system.
Oversee and manage material withdrawal and cut-to-size (saw operation) processes.
Package materials for external shipments, creating best practices to ensure product protection and compliance with customer requirements.
Coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities, including scheduling with carriers, preparing shipping paperwork, and inspecting incoming materials for accuracy and damage.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, working closely with supply chain and operations leadership to improve inventory flow, reduce waste, and support 5S implementation.
Material Handler Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Willingness and ability to become forklift certified (if not already).
Organizational skills, computer literacy and self-initiative in a growing environment with evolving processes.
Ability to safely lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment.
This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and the ability to access and handle ITAR “Technical Data” as defined by 22 CFR § 120.33 is an essential function.
