Responsibilities for a Material Handler 1st Shift include but are not limited to:

• The CLIENT Material Handler moves material and equipment throughout the CLIENT facility to assist in production and inventory control.
• The Material Handler ensures that materials and equipment are stored properly once received, whether stock or project specific, and identified correctly for their intended use.
• The Material Handler prepares materials from inventory for use in production, to include cutting, kitting, and staging.
• The Material Handler performs inventory counts as specified and is responsible for the clean and safe storage of all material within the warehouse.
  Candidates for a Material Handler 1st Shift must meet the following requirements to be considered:
• Forklift experience is preferred, this site uses stand up, sit down, and reach truck
  Experience with electric and manual pallet jacks
• Must follow CLIENT safety guidelines and requirements. Wears required PPE at all times.
• Safely work with all equipment, machines, and tools required pletion
• Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or usingputer.
• Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard.
• Perform inventory counts and identify discrepancies.
• Store items in an orderly, accessible, and safe manner.
• Prepare, kit, assemble, and stage materials and equipment for use in production.
• Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
• Listens and follows directions from leads and supervisors.
• Ads to CLIENT Quality Management System and ISO9001 standards.
• Works in a timely, efficient manner to meet all daily performance objectives.
• Maintains tools and equipment in proper working condition.
• Identify material and equipment issues.
• Must be able to read and understand posted bulletins, regulations, rule books, manufacturer manuals, and work instructions
• Must be able to work in a team environment which requires cooperating with others, offering help when needed, and maintaining positive work relationships
• Complete Time ing Sheets
• Ensure working environment is clean and safe.
• inventory use as required
• Able to lift 50# consistently
• Ability to work 10 hours per day and weekends as required
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Background check and drug-screen are required.

Pay Details:

$18.00 to $19.00 per hour
