Position Summary:

• The Shipping Associateposition is responsible for transferring finished product from thefreezer onto refrigerated trucks.

Essential Duties, Functions andresponsibilities:

Using sit-down forklift, pull product out of blastand place in freezer racks and load/unload trucks.

Use hand-heldscanner to scan product into inventory system.

Using wrappingmachine, wrap product on pallets to specifications.

Ability to worksafely in sub-zero temperatures (to

• 40•F) for periods of up to 2hours.

Must be able to become forklift.

Knowledge, Skills andAbilities:

Follows all safety, USDA, and GMP policies andguidelines.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Ability to workin a fast paced environment.

Ability to communicate effectively andfollow verbal and written instructions & policies.

Accountable tomaintain punctual and regular attendance for scheduled workhours.

Must be able to work in a team atmosphere and possess goodleadership skills.

Must be able to use basic math (add, subtract,multiply, divide).Must be willing and able to perform physicalrequirements of the job.

Physical Requirements:

Standing 8

• 10 hoursper day.

Operating powered industrial equipment.

Lifting up to 50lbs.

Possible bending, stooping, twisting, and squatting.
