Material Handler Workforce Unlimited Jonesville, NC 28642 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Material Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the warehouse operations, ensuring that materials are handled safely and efficiently. This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Duties Load and unload materials from trucks and containers, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Operate various warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, order pickers, and cherry pickers. Utilize RF scanners for inventory tracking and management. Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation of all materials. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space. Follow all safety protocols in compliance with OSHA regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and efficiency. Qualifications Previous experience in a warehouse or materials handling role is preferred. Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures is beneficial. Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, order pickers, and cherry pickers. Knowledge of RF scanning technology for inventory management. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
