Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Uses forklift to deliver raw or in-process material to operations, removes the finished material from the process to storage or to the next process. Moves scrap to the holding area for recycling and waste containers to the appropriate waste storage. Loads or unloads shipments. Reads in process tickets, finished goods tickets, and scrap tickets. Maintains logs, labels, etc. to ensure that materials are properly routed and that each process receives the correct material for the assigned produce. Follows standard work procedures and complies with all safety rules. Conducts daily safety checks throughout the shift while using proper PPE.
Qualifications:
Solid, stable work history with previous industrial experience preferred. Proficient in basic math, reading and comprehension of work instructions, and use of a computer. Able to Bend, Push & Pull 75 lbs, and Reach frequently. Able to lift or carry up to 40 lbs. Able to stand or walk for multiple hours consecutively. Able to drive powered industrial vehicles or willing to learn to drive powered industrial vehicles.
