Material Handler :
Material Handlers are responsible for performing essential routine tasks involving the replenishing and distributing of materials to the manufacturing floor within the Standard Work Chart. This includes delivering required materials to the Business Cell(s) on a determined frequency.
Retrieve all finished goods/kits from each individual Business Cell(s) for finished goods inventory. Material Handers interface with Purchasing, Manufacturing, Quality, Customer Service and other departments to reconcile concerns affecting inventory accuracy. Material Handlers maintain daily inventory transactions. Accurately pulls material for kits according to production orders. Full understanding of FIFO system.
Checks and fills shortages in kits or work in progress Material Handlers Assists daily with data entry of all stockroom and shipping transactions. Required to do cycle counting and to assist in the annual inventory of the entire Stock Room Following established procedures, service all stock requisitions Material Handlers must be cross-trained in all shipping/receiving duties and responsibilities Requirements of a
