Organization Overview:

The Warehouse Specialist will join the WH operations team and support system level detailed design, creation of standard operating processes, material handling and automated storage equipment commissioning (ASRS/AGV) and qualification activities, commercial product validation and ultimately be responsible for the physical handling of material through the receiving processes, storage, campus wide material movement, and product shipment. In addition to providing daily operational support, the Warehouse Specialist will also provide technical and operational leadership in daytoday operations.

Responsibilities:

Support site startup and provide subject matter expertise in warehouse operations.
Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, working safely and accountable for supporting all HSE corporate and site goals
Provide coaching and direction for employees in areas of responsibility. Assigns daily and weekly work schedules to departmental employees.
Unloading / loading of material at docks, receiving of material, interfacing with the automated material storage and retrieval system, preparation of materials for shipment, transacting within with electronic warehouse management system, supporting cycle counting efforts.
Follow all safety requirements and procedures and routinely inspects area for health and safety issues. Assist with implementation of counter measures from safety incident investigations. Work with Leader and safety representatives to implement safety projects.
Follow all GMP, and other regulatory requirements. Participate in quality initiatives and audits. Provides leadership for compliance to

FDA, OSHA, EPA

regulations.
Identifies and implements performance improvements
Drives accountability for results
Actively supports training efforts in the area.
Create, follow, and execute policies and procedures impacting warehouse activities.
Understanding and use of the transportation management system.

Basic Requirements:

Associate or bachelor’s degree a plus
Ability to pickup / move 40pound containers
Minimum 3+ years of Previous warehouse/logistics experience in a GMP environment
Completion of Post Offer Exam or Completion of Work Simulation if applicable.

Comfortable with interfacing with automated systems
Previous demonstration leadership skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Solid understanding of quality and corporate policies
Solid understanding of the importance of and basic requirements of regulatory agencies such as the FDA, OSHA, and EPA
Demonstrate solid judgement and initiative
Enthusiastic, positive attitude
Certified to operate all types of powered industrial trucks

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$25.60 $42.67
