You’ll play a key role in helping our client manufacture its high-quality components. Responsibilities of the Material Handler Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials and products Label and place inventory in correct locations Receive material into Production MRP system Issue material to jobs per production schedule Fill unscheduled material requests Deliver material to operations using forklifts and other material handling equipment Track material shelf life Make adjustments to inventory system for relocated, scrapped, lost, or obsolete material Assist with Shipping and Receiving as needed Qualifications of the Material Handler Minimum 1 year of warehouse/inventory experience Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time Forklift certified – highly skilled (tight spaces) Able to read, understand, and follow written work instructions Basic math and computer skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Punctual and reliable Self-starter who can work well with minimal supervision Hours are Monday through Thursday from 6:00am-4:00pm.
