YOUR TASKS

Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment: Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills, invoices, orders, or other records. Determine method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures routes and rates Assemble wooden or cardboard containers or appropriate container(s) for shipping; often requires the use of small hand held and/or powered tools Pack/insert items into containers, using spacers, fillers, and protective padding. Unpack and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. Keep Warehouse clean by sweeping floors on a regular basis, remove trash and recycle cardboard. Assist in annual Physical Inventory Count Other duties as assigned.

YOUR PROFILE

Must be capable of lifting & carrying up to 50 lbs approximately 10ft. and/or up 3 steps. 20 hours per week. Must work well in a team environment and independently.
