Material Handler 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Logan Twp, NJ 08085 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Material Handlers to join our team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The Material Handler will be responsible for the movement, storage, and organization of materials within the facility. This role requires a strong focus on safety and efficiency while adhering to company policies and procedures. Duties Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport goods within the warehouse. Perform heavy lifting of materials as needed, ensuring proper lifting techniques are utilized to maintain safety. Utilize RF scanners for inventory management, ensuring accurate tracking of materials. Assist in order picking and preparation for shipping and receiving processes. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to maintain an organized and efficient workspace. Follow OSHA regulations and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment. Participate in regular inventory counts and assist in maintaining stock levels within the distribution center. Build pallets and prepare materials for shipment, ensuring that all items are securely packaged. Skills Strong ability to build pallets efficiently for shipping purposes. Experience using RF scanners for inventory management is a plus. Capability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift. Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or order picking within a distribution center is advantageous. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in material handling tasks.
