Warehouse Worker Job Description Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Worker, where you will play a crucial role in the efficient operations of our fast-paced warehouse environment. You will be responsible for various essential tasks to ensure the smooth flow of goods within the facility. Responsibilities Perform shipping and receiving duties. Stock shelves, sort packages, and organize items within the warehouse. Conduct scanning, labeling, marking, and inventory tasks. Utilize RF scanners to track and manage inventory efficiently. Essential Skills General labor experience in a warehouse setting. Proficiency in shipping, stocking, and manual pallet jack operations. Ability to pick and pack orders with accuracy. Experience with RF scanner and scanning tasks. Material handling and loading expertise. Additional Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Work Environment Experience a fast-paced warehouse environment with narrow aisles navigated safely by forklifts and hand carts. Temperature conditions vary with the seasons, with heating in winter and fans and water coolers in summer. Dress in light, breathable layers and wear appropriate footwear like sneakers, boots, or steel-toe shoes, as open-toe shoes, sandals, flats, and heels are prohibited. No cellphones or electronics are permitted in the warehouse. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dayton, New Jersey. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.25 – $18.25/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
