POSITION SUMMARY

The Shipping and Receiving Associate will be responsible for coordinating shipping and receiving activities, maintaining inventory accuracy levels, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies. This position plays a vital role in optimizing logistics processes and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS

Logistics Coordination:

Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products. Operate forklift, ability to drive trucks or other material handling equipment to move items between platforms, storage areas, and locations. Load and unload trailers/trucks. Sort and stock receivables. Maintain accurate tracking and recording of inventory levels. Conduct daily cycle counts, log sheets of physical inventories to ensure data accuracy and identify discrepancies. Monitor stock levels to prevent stock outs or overstock situations, optimizing inventory turnover. Ensure products are properly packaged, labeled, and documented for shipping in compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards. Maintain organized records of shipments, receipts, and inventory transactions. Monitor and maintain a safe working environment enforcing safety protocols in the shipping and receiving areas to prevent accidents. Maintain a safe working environment by observing company safety rules and regulations.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

A valid driver’s license Forklift and Pallet Jack experience is a MUST Bilingual in Spanish, a plus At least one year of experience in a related field; Familiarity with warehousing and distribution principles. Scanning and sorting incoming and outgoing stock Receiving, stocking, and stacking Pulling, packing, and loading Good written and verbal communication skills Strong sense of time organization and urgency Able to work independently and within a team
