Position Summary:

Essential Functions:

Key Responsibilities:

1.

Receiving and Processing Shipments:

A. Unloads incoming daily shipments from trucks. B. Verify and inspect received items for damage or discrepancies. C. Label and sort items in storage locations. D. Assists with daily outgoing shipments as needed. 2.

Inventory Management:

A. Issue raw material to workstations via forklift and return any remaining back the storage location. B. Maintain accurate inventory records of raw material and scrap metal collection. C. Conduct regular stock counts (cycle counting or full inventory). D. Report any inventory discrepancies to supervisors. E. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse. 3.

Equipment Operation:

A. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, stretch wrap, deck leveler, and other warehouse equipment. Must be forklift certified. B. Drive company van. Must have clean driving record. C. Follow safety procedures while using machinery.

Non-essential Responsibilities:

1. Performs other duties as directed.

Basic troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude, with an ability to effectively diagnose issues in machinery and tools. A thorough understanding of safety protocols and procedures is essential to maintain a safe working environment. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; relevant certifications, vocational training, or an associate degree in a related field is preferred. Ability to lift heavy materials up to 50 lbs.

Work Environment:

This position involves working in a manufacturing environment. The employee must be aware of potential hazards, including, but not limited to, working near moving mechanical parts, operating vehicles, exposure to electrical current, high temperatures, and chemicals. Maintaining high alertness and caution while performing tasks in this work environment is important.
