The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our distribution center. This position involves various tasks related to materials handling, order picking, and equipment operation. The Warehouse Technician will be responsible for maintaining a safe and organized workspace while meeting productivity goals. Responsibilities Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage stock levels. Utilize equipment such as cherry pickers and clamp trucks for efficient order picking and loading/unloading of products. Perform heavy lifting and materials handling as required to ensure timely delivery of goods. Build and assemble orders accurately according to specifications. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse environment. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and enhance operational efficiency. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Qualifications Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting is preferred. Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus. Proficient in operating cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and other warehouse equipment. Strong ability in order picking, load/unload operations, and heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs). Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety practices.
