Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a Material Handler w/ Forklift Certification in College Park, GA. In this role, you will be responsible for working in different areas of the warehouse to assist with daily operations. Apply today if you meet the qualifications listed below. In a Material Handler w/ Forklift Certification job you’ll be responsible for: Checking material for quantity and quality to purchase orders and SDS requirements.
Unloading trucks, then transporting raw material to designated storage or production areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
Refilling or staging chemical drums and containers at workstations or production presses, ensuring timely flow of materials into manufacturing processes.
Performing physical and cycle counts.
Picking materials for dispatch, ensuring correct packaging and labeling, loading shipments, and completing associated shipping documentation. Using and performing quality checks on forklifts, pallet jacks, drum handlers following safety protocols.
Wearing PPE What you’ll need: Forklift certification and forklift experience.
Proven experience as a material handler.
Ability to do heavy lifting (55 lbs+)
MUST have general warehouse knowledge
Must have steel toe boots
MUST be responsible and reliable.
Perks:
Excellent Monday – Friday schedule (7:00 AM – 3:30PM)
