Material Handler Position Available In Albany, New York

Job Title:

Material Handler – Liner Assembly Job Description We are seeking Material Handlers/Liner Assemblers to join our team, responsible for material handling, inventory control, forklift operation, and liner assembly. The liners are used to line the inside of storage containers and tractor trailers for product shipping, with a goal of completing six liners per day. Responsibilities Review work orders, inspect materials, and prepare tools for liner installation. Clean trailers and inspect for sharp edges that can puncture the liner. Secure liners inside bulk containers, ensuring proper fit and alignment. Use tools such as impact wrenches to fasten liners and ensure a tight seal. Inspect liners for defects, leaks, or misalignment before finalizing installation. Set up fall protection systems and follow safety protocols for confined space work. Occasionally assist with loading and positioning bulk materials. Clean work areas, maintain equipment, and document completed installations. Why Work Here? Work Environment The warehouse operates with about 40 employees between the floor and management. Candidates will report to a shift lead. The work is conducted indoors, but trailers are not climate-controlled, requiring the ability to work in varying temperatures. The shift is Monday-Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Selkirk, New York. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 – $19.00/hr.
