Winery General Laborer/ Driver 2.6 2.6 out of 5 stars Alexandria Bay, NY 13607 Thousand Islands Winery is seeking an experienced Winery Production staff and Delivery Driver to join our team. As a production laborer/ delivery driver you will play a crucial role in the production of our high-quality wines working directly for the Winemaker in the production of over 25 varieties of wine year-round.

Duties can include:

• Delivering wine across multiple counties across NYS in Winery Freightliner or commercial vans
• Overseeing all aspects of wine production, from grape processing to bottling
• Monitoring and maintaining fermentation processes
• Conducting regular quality control checks to ensure wine meets standards
• Operate and maintain winery equipment, including tanks, pumps, and filters
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth production flow
• Manage inventory of wine supplies and materials
• Assist with cellar operations such as racking, blending, and fining
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and sanitation standards Skills & Attributes To excel in this role, you should have the following skills:
• Knowledge of winemaking processes and techniques
• Experience working in a winery or similar production environment
• Familiarity with craft brewing processes is a plus
• Ability to operate packaging equipment for bottling and labeling
• Proficient in warehouse operations, including inventory management and logistics
• Ability to fabricate and repair winery equipment as needed
• Excellent sanitation practices with industrial equipment to ensure wine quality and safety
• Forklift operation experience is required
