Parksite is looking for a full-time Warehouse Associate to join our team! The Warehouse Associate will operate a forklift in our distribution center and pick orders using a voice-picking system. They will also assist with shipping and receiving, loading and unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, as well as other duties.
Starting pay: $19.00/hour
Schedule:
09:00am – Close
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
Complete daily logs into the inventory system
Report any discrepancies
Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment
Follow quality control standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
Job Requirements:
Authorization to work in the US
High school diploma / GED
Ability to lift 50-100 lbs. Certified sit-down forklifts are required.
Basic computer skills and not afraid of heights
Good understanding of safety procedures and use of personal protection equipment (PPE)
Good organizational and time management skills
Must be able to work unsupervised as well as in a team
Must have a pre-employment physical, drug test, and background check upon hire
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven working experience as a warehouse worker
Proven working experience with forklifts (previous certification is a plus)
Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems
Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
Knowledge of Lumber, Plywood, and Laminates
