Warehouse Worker S&J Trading Inc. Glen Oaks, NY 11004 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring that products are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for distribution. The ideal candidate will have experience in a warehouse environment and possess skills in inventory management and order fulfillment. Responsibilities Perform picking and packing of orders with accuracy and efficiency. Heavy lifting is required. Assist in order fulfillment processes to ensure timely delivery of products. Operate heavy equipment such as pallet jacks and cherry pickers safely and effectively. Maintain organization within the warehouse to optimize workflow and productivity. Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure stock levels are maintained. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Minimum excel skills required. Experience Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred. Familiarity with inventory management practices is highly desirable. Experience with picking, packing, and order fulfillment processes is a plus. Knowledge of operating heavy equipment such as pallet jacks is beneficial. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
