Warehouse Worker Position Available In Queens, New York

DFB Sales is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our Panel Shop team. This individual will be responsible for the efficient and accurate handling of materials, components, and finished products within our panel manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse operations, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to safety and quality

Responsibilities:

• Organize and store materials in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper labeling and accessibility.
• Pick and stage components and materials for panel assembly according to production orders.
• Prepare and finished panels for shipment, including packaging, crating, and labeling.
• Assist panel builders with material retrieval and organization as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment within the warehouse and Panel Shop area.
• Support the flow of materials to and from the production floor to optimize efficiency.
• Perform light assembly or kitting tasks as directed.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper lifting techniques and equipment operation.
• Operate basic hand and power tools as required.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including cleaning and maintenance.
• Collaborated effectively with team members and other departments.

Qualifications:

• No experience Needed
• Experience with material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklift certification a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in counting and record-keeping.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Strong work ethic and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.

  $16.50 per hour
