United States Route 9, Castleton-on-Hudson, NY 12033 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, including residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Duties Perform custodial tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to ensure cleanliness. Conduct buffing and floor care activities to maintain the appearance of surfaces. Execute residential painting tasks as needed for upkeep and aesthetic enhancement. Carry out commercial cleaning duties in offices, restrooms, and common areas. Maintain cleanliness in industrial settings while adhering to safety protocols. Serve as a porter by managing waste disposal and replenishing supplies in designated areas. Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Requirements Proven experience in custodial or cleaning roles is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with various cleaning techniques and equipment. Ability to perform floor care tasks including buffing and maintenance of different surfaces. Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or collaboratively. Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
