Job Description
Warehouse Associate – Shipping and Receiving – Entry-level Empire Abrasives 85 Hoffman Lane, Islandia, NY 11749 No prior warehouse experience is necessary!! Ground floor opportunity at a rapidly growing eCommerce company. We are seeking a picker / packer for a full-time position at our Islandia location. The best candidate will be a reliable team player that likes a fast-paced atmosphere, takes pride in their work and pays close attention to small details. This is an entry-level position, and we are prepared to train; however prior experience is a plus. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Picking and packing products to be shipped to consumers. Using multiple shipping software to create packing labels. Maintaining, organizing and cleaning the warehouse. Keeping track of packaging supplies. Unloading new shipments and taking inventory.
Qualifications:
High school Diploma or GED. Must be able to lift up to 75lbs and be able to stand for long periods. Must be computer literate. Able to follow direction and pay close attention to details. Must have reliable transportation. Positive attitude, good work ethic and take pride in what you do. Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) reference check.
